combo dog training? ??

Got a decent dog on both squirrel and raccoon, but lately at night he's been treeing opossums .My question is do I need to break him from the opossum treeing at night or is that what you get from a combination dog??

it comes down to if you want him treeing possums or not and want him to be straight coon at night and if you do just pull him off and tell him no and cut him back loose somewhere else and if you have plenty of coon he should stay off the possums after a while, if it climbs it is ok with me i do not mind mine treeing a possum or two myself.
