Any Mnt View Curs out there?

Was just wondering how many people out there still had them? I'm sick and tired of all the he said she said crap that comes along with this line. I've pretty much heard it all, just didn't know if anyone out there had any and how are they doing?

No, if you talk to Roy he bad mouths bloodgood, if you talk to bloodgood he bad mouths Roy, if you talk to Robert kemmer he bad mouths bloodgood. I've heard it all from tons of people. I've heard that there was pit bull in Roy's stuff, I've heard there's pit bull in Roberts stuff, I've heard false papers in Roy's stuff. All I know is that I own one and I like her. I'm going to breed her one last time before she gets to old and found a nice kemmer male up in MI. His name is Cedar Creek Rage, owned by the Younts. But was just wondering if there were any Mnt view males out there? I want to keep the same kind of line going that I have. My female just like all the other MVCs is heavy golden nugget Jr. So I'm wanting to keep it in the kemmer line. I actually talked to blood good and he said he had a cousin to my dog and would breed for a pup and I told him they were all sold. He said his stud fee would be $500 then if he didn't get a pup cause that's what he's selling pups for. That's just a little out of my price range between that and fuel. I've heard great things so far out of Rage and his pups so I'm going with Rage.

I SOLD HER & her dame to bloodgood.he kept the old female & let roy have her pup.

My female is out of Boogie and Dream. I guess they were sold to Roy after my pup was born and Roy bred them a few more times.

I love our mountain view cur female. We couldn't get her registered because the people we bought her from had never gotten down to get her parents certified. She is game crazy and one of the most athletic dogs I've ever seen. Wish I had found her a similar mate before she came in heat but they or the kemmer curs like her are hard to find around here. We can't get away to travel.

Just single register her. But you would have to do it as a Treeing cur. Never seen one with a full tail.

I know what you mean with the Kemmers, I just bred my MVC to a full kemmer up in MI. Most of them are down south.

There were 3 out of 8 in the litter with tails. I prefer the look of a tail but think most breeders dock the tails of the few that are born with them. If you end up with extra pups I may be interested in one.

I'm not real familiar with the United Mountain Cur Association but I think that you could register your mountain view dogs with UMCA - they are mountain curs after all...

Mt View Male

I've got a nice male about four years old, he's the third one I have owned. He is one of the smartest dogs I ever owned. He'll do anything he can to please and even anticipates your commands. He's a good squirrel dog, particularly in cut-over and he will tree coons. I live in Memphis.

I have a WDTA registered male that is getting old but may still be able to breed. Not sure though. He's black brindle and natural bobtailed. Was a good squirrel and coon dog. Haven't hunted him in a long time. He was kicked by a horse and it hurt him bad. I have hunt receipts on him and he is a show CH. He's 13 now but still hanging on. Let me know if you want to know more. I'm in Western Ohio.

BradB41 has been kind enough to let me barrow his female (Daisy) to breed because my female Gem didn't take when I bred her a couple months ago. Daisy is a younger sister to Gem and will be bred to a son out of Gem and Bad River Hammer. So, these pups would be 3/4 MVC. The pups will be NKC registered as mountain curs and price is TBD. Depends on how many she has. All I want is to try and make some of my money back from cost of fuel, stud fee, puppy care. So it shouldn't be much. I'll probably post somthing once I know she took on the classifieds. Just letting people know.
