Bobby,

I had the upmost RESPECT for Mr Rachels, I had the pleasure of meeting Bobby when I was 14-15 years old
at Christiansburg, va many years ago. Treated "this kid" with respect an I never forgot him. Had the pleasure to hunt with him a couple times through the years. Pinehill
trueboy 2, an Cherry tree Pete dog.

Proud to say we a have a new litter of pups that carry a high % of TRUEBOY blood.

Bobby

Just read your post didn't know any of this about Bobby. His obit said he passed Wed June 3rd in the hospital. He was 72 a brick mason cattle farmer and kept honey bees. I took a Blue Grass Amos female over to breed to Cherry Tree Pete twice and never got pups found out my female didn't run a normal cycle she would take a male on the 21st day. He sold Pete or he died before I could get back over. I believe his Pine Hill Trueboy dog was sired by MC Blackmons Red Joe Dog.

Hey Mr. Gayle, this is Brad McDaniel. I have been trying to get registered to post on here for about a week now and just finally got it done.

I called Jim Ridge the Friday of Eng Days and asked him if he would spread the word up there.

Mr. Bobby was a great man. Very few folks are lucky enough to get to know one of their heros growing up as I was with Mr. Bobby. He was the type of fellow that would find your coon on split trees and still beat you. He was a role model for countless young coonhunters. He will be missed. Him and ol True Boy are together again now.

RIP old friend!

ps - Mr. Gayle I hope you are doing well, its been too long.

Post Mr. Bobby & GRNTCH Cherry Tree Pete

The Pete dog was raised by Kurt Nickol in Iowa. Some Amish boys started him. Pete's Sire was Cherry Creek Mac out of Iowa Blue Boy.

The Amish boys sold Pete and he headed South East. He ended up back in Iowa as a partnership dog for Terry
Salisbury and Chris Feddersen. My old LEMS FLYIN SHY ANNE was out of Pete and a Ntch female that was a granddaughter to Timberstar Buck.

I never heard of anything but good about Mr. Bobby. Kelly Stagner (RIP) thought the world of Bobby.

Larry
