Best Bluetick Litters?

I know the word "best" is subjective, but what are the best producing Bluetick litters of all time? Recently? Litters where a majority turned out to be average and above coondogs.

The Hollycreeks Smokey x Katie cross is proven to produce nice hounds and winners. Smokey and Katie are both owned by Bo Dotson and both hounds are on the current top reproduces list. I have hunted with hounds out of this cross from different litters and each one was a nice hound.

Great cross. I have been away from hunting for close to ten years and I am amazed at the number of dogs that have Rambo II in their pedigree today.

The cross between Smokey River Spud, and Be's Blue Jean wasn't bad. There were two other dogs from this same litter that were killed much too early. There was another male (besides Tramp) who was a big dog, with a big mouth, and he started real quick and was well on his way to becoming a top hound...until he was killed on the highway while hunting.

There was another female, Smokey River Jean's Blue Jane, who met an untimely death on the highway. I traded her to Warren Haslouer for J-Bell, the mother of Chief, with the intention of breeding J-Bell to Tramp. (Which never happened b/c of an infection in J-Bell, which eventually killed her). Jane would, no doubt, have made Gr.Nt. because she would get alone, with a coon.

This cross was made by a guy, Leon Handy, who was influenced by the same man that played a huge roll in my choice of hounds, Mr. Frank Hall (deceased) from Stuart, Va. To my knowledge, Leon no longer hunts or breeds dogs. He only made a few crosses, but made history with the ones he did.

Morris' Bl River Mike X Burrells Gal

Hammer II X most anything!

And if I'm not mistaken, the litter SR Tramp was out of, all made Grand, (the ones that lived). Mr. Smith would know more about that litter.

So many great crosses, its hard to pick just one or two.

Topsy was out of an excellent cross herself. National Grand Night Bluetick Clear River Diamond Jim II, Dual Grand Clear River Blue Diamond Jimmy HTX2, Gr Nt Ch Clear River Jimbo, Nt Ch Bois Dark Blue Jim, Topsy, I believe 2 other Nt Ch females from that cross, and some other once in a lifetime type hounds owned by pleasure hunters that I tracked down. Dogs from that cross were known for drive, big mouths, smarts, drifting style track dogs that would get treed with a coon.
Topsy being out of Clear River Diamond Jim and Bo Bo being out of Rambo III, who were littermates out of Rambo II and Curlee, who was out of the cross Craig Edwards referred to in a previous post. Just some good solid breeding in the Bobo x Topsy cross.

Smokey River Blue Spud X Smokey River Be's Blue Jean

There were 5 that lived in this litter. There was one more male and he was killed as a young dog by a car. The 5 that lived went on to make Grand Nite Champions and make individual names for
themselves.

1. Smokey River Jeans Blue Tramp
2. Smokey River Jeans Blue June
3. Smokey River Jeans Blue Ruby
4. Smokey River Jeans Blue Leary
5. Clear River Blue Curlee

I'm sure there were probably other people involved in the breeding of this litter and I'm sure I'll hear about it, but the only person that I knew that owned all these dogs when we got Tramp was Mr. Warren Haslouer, and he is the one I give credit to for these dogs making the type dogs that they did.
