9YR spayed pleasure hunter/ pup trainer
Due to new job and relocating I am looking to find a new home for Gin. Ideally I would like to get her to a young hunter looking to have something to take to the woods like someone did for me 20yrs ago. She is not perfect, but has treed plenty of game.
She is a tight hunter, cold nose, open big bawl mouth trail, rolling chop tree dog, easy handling. All my dogs typically kennel together and I have never had any problems in the kennel.
She doesn't usually hunt out that far, but once on a track typically will go as far as necessary.
She has run and treed Bobcat, but not a finished bobcat dog. She doesn't care for hunting in weather below 0, and would rather be in the dog box than chasing a cat all day in those conditions. For this reason she hasn't been on cats for a couple of years and only chased coon. She may add some value to someone trying to get into cat hunting, but NOT A COMPLETE CAT DOG.
She is located in central MN and would make a great pleasure/hide dog for someone. For me she has been a good pup starter due to her tighter hunting (doesn't blow thru the country leaving pups behind), loud open trailing, and solid tree dog.
