mother, father, and puppy hunt.

tonight hunted sky pup with parents trix and jam. minner got to stay home, shes on injured reserve with nasty infection. couldnt ask for better conditions tonight. first thing no bug problems tonight!!! what a relief, bugs have made hunts almost unbearable lately. day before got over inch of slow rain and temps were in mid 60s tonight with little breeze. doesnt get any better then this for enjoying a hunt and finally treed first kits ive seen. kits were huge and cant figure out why havent seen any with how good huntings been. been telling my buddies dogs like a challenge so have left kits alone. LOL.

jam and sky caught coon on ground together then had 4 trees with all the dogs. multiple kits in 2 of the trees. other 2 trees singles. trix treed once by herself also but as much hated to do it beeped her off tree. 2 other dogs were deeper the other way and wanted to keep them hunting and not get big ears. they kept going good while she treed couple minutes so figured wouldnt hurt her a bit beeping off. having a ball with sky shes looking better every night and jam did good tonight to.

mother, father, and puppy dog.

stacked up in dead tree like firewood.
