Patrick have you been using the shocker collar on her much ? I've seen dogs would break their neck to get back in the box or crawl under the truck every time the truck stopped to put them on off game . I've never witness heat stroke either but heard of dogs quitting after getting over heated . Anyway hope she turns around for you soon .

Sure hope she comes out of it. Wish I could tell you more, but I don't have a clue. Coming in heat was my first though. But a tick disease could definitely be possible. I'd have her checked for sure. Something may show up in blood work.

Sounds like a tick disease to me. Just put a grand nite thru treatments for doing just what you described. Good luck with her, Jr. Steelman.

A guy in our church had a female do the same thing back in the winter. She went from hunting great, to just quit hunting. He would turn her loose, and she wouldn't leave him, with or without other dogs. She didn't seem sick, so he didn't take her to the vet. She died a few weeks later without showing any signs of sickness. Not saying your female is going to die, but you may want to have her checked out. Good luck with her!

Full throttle jiggs did that and we just took him with hounds and let him do what he wanted to do and he finally came back around.
