Need to get both sides of the circumstance at hand. Cause it seems like a reoccurring situation. Happened to me in a pkc hunt also except it wasn't raining. I could hear mine deep and there's no way the other man could hear his cause mine drowned his out...and he's not that loud. We walked for 15 min and I heard him the whole time. They kept stopping to listen and they made it out like they went over 10 hollers and couldn't hear them. Well, they wasnt. In return I didn't want to tree him and "them not hear him", put two on him, and try to minus me. Well anyway we stopped one more time and I said to myself the next time we stop I'm going to tree mine cause they are bound to hear him then. So we started to stop and before we even got remotely stopped to hear he could hear the roar and a guy treed his a fraction of a second before me. Pitched his cause I know for a fact I could only hear mine. I didn't argue a word about it either. So that cost me another win. Moral of the story is in a situation like that do you do what I did or would it be better to tree him when I hear him and them turn around like they can't hear him and try to minus me??? Everyone deserves to win if they have a pretty good dog. I'm not mad over not getting the win, I'm mad about the situation...but 3 times in a row will kinda be seen as a reoccurring problem in most people's eyes. I got 1/3 that technically i should have had. Mine isn't the best dog in the country but he is awfully nice for 2 year old. Very accurate. He's a 2nd strike dog and 1st tree. Everytime. I've got to have my tree points. 2nd and 2nd don't get you wins. And Kevin you have to admit he was the dog of the cast finishing that track the other two couldn't. He treed the only coon that night that I seen. I would say the first one was there too but still. I'm not mad over the win. I just want to know the best way to handle a situation like that
