quatro boots.
been putting some miles on uninsulated quatros with yoder chaps. fit and finish great, yoder chaps are favorite ive had so far and everything water tight. usually wear 11 and one size smaller fit perfect. got the 16" boots and even with 20" calves they are just right, i like boot to fit fairly snug there. can wear with jeans fine and i wear shorts this time of year so that way fits perfect. traction awesome in mud and what not.
like most boots they seem little flimsy and wish had better ankle support especially in hills but in hot and humid weather like now im not gonna complain. always liked mucks for ankle support and how top around toe of boot is harder but mucks are junk quality wise and hot. main reason i liked mucks stiffness is got bad ankle from couple horse wrecks.
overall though boots are growing on me and uninsulated ones i got are good warm weather boot. to me seem similar to old alphas but with way better traction. boots easy getting on and off as well even when super sweated up. gonna be wearing em 5 or more nights a week until cold hits and that will tell for sure but so far so good. thanks bj, was fast shipping.
