Gauge & Dic-Z

I got a female out of the Gauge and Dic-Z cross from Mr. Arnold a couple of days ago. I was wondering how the rest of the litter is doing and who had them. Thanks in advance.

I have a female and Mr. Karl has One..

Mine has great looks, great mouth, she reminds me of the best female I've ever has (looks and mouth- bout 15 years ago).. She will not look at or bark at a cage or dead coon...

She has always went hunting good and will be working the track ahead of the other dogs sometimes... she only opens when its smoking hot. Usually, she meets me off the tree or is milling around, UNFORTUNATELY, once the coon is up she is done... I have only had her blow the top out of two trees ( both hot coon).

I would have already culled her except for her willingness to go hunting... I am going to give her this kill season.. but if I'm going to be honest with myself, I don't think she has the tree in her that I require.

I hope she proves me wrong.

Some just don't make it.

Note- When I say cull, I mean give her to someone as a pet, she has too good of a personality......

Thanks for the info Casey. I had a Gauge male a few years back that I really liked. He was a blow the top out of a tree type dog. You could hear that sucker a mile away when he parked it. I just got this female a couple of days ago so I haven't had the chance to turn her loose yet. Lord willing I will take her tonight after I get off work. I am hopeful she will be a nice one.

I sold him to a couple of local kids. As far as I know they still have him. I tried to buy him back several times over the last couple of years but they wouldn't part with him. I kick myself for getting rid of him.

Rox-z

Took my female out with a older platinum PKC dog and a bone pup last night. She hasn't been hunted in a month and a half. They treed a possum first 15 min. She wasn't with them. Doing her own thing. Cut them loose, rox-z treed on a big oak with a hollow at the bottom. Older dog trees with her. Cut them loose again. Old dog and pup got treed in some rough stuff and rox-z split about 50 yards from them and never moved. Stayed put for 35 minutes. A nice tree but too rough to get a good shine on it. Nice chop mouth tree dog. Great in the kennel.

She sounds like she has the makings of a nice one. I've only had the chance to take mine out a couple of times. Her name is Is-Z. Is-Z has a good mouth and is a good looking female. She is still green as grass but I think she has the tools to make it. Where is Sweeney located?

Yea Rox-z has a really nice mouth for a female. And I need to change that. I have moved to central tx. Milano. Sweeney is south west of Houston.
