I just got a Sunfire Mini Ultra a couple months ago and I'm really liking it. It's all the light you need to spot the tree on the brightest setting, the lowest setting works real well for walking, Battery life is unreal I recharge it once every couple weeks and I'm hunting 3-4 nights a week.

I have a Sunfire Mini and like it very much. It's very bright on high with plenty enough light to walk on low and I'm seeing coon eyes in leafy trees with the amber LED. DON'T get insect repellant on the battery case. It melts the plastic!

I have the Sunfire Ultra HD,,,it is by far more light than anyone would ever need,,it is the best light out there,,but that's my own opinion,,the 2 most talked about lights on this board is the Sunfire Ultra HD and the Boss Hotspot 3D,,so that right there should tell you what lights are the best out there,,I can't speak for the Boss as I have never seen one in action,,,but I would like to,,and I've also heard about and seen in action the Sunfire Mini,,,it is amazing how bright that thing is,,heard lots of good about it,,everyone's opinions varies so the best thing you can do is find others with different lights and judge for yourself which one you like the best,,good luck

People always tell you that the one they just spent $300.00 plus on is the best whether they really like it or not. It makes them feel better, but it doesn't do you a lot of good!!!
I tend to look at things a little different than the rest of the world...suggest you take a look at which ones are for sale used and which ones you almost never see for sale used...there is your answer.

Good advice and you hardly ever see the 3D or the HD for sale used.

Thank you sir, that was exactly what I was getting at. The ones you do see for sale used are usually being sold to buy one of these.

Lights

It's really hard to go wrong with a light today, most companies make a dependable bright light . You defiantly can't go wrong with light from boss or sunspot , top notch customer service and bright ! I've seen the hd and the 3d both in action and both are top notch . They are both around 100,000 lux , both extremely bright . But on the flip side I still use my laser torch pro with color. It isn't as bright as either one but I find all my coons . I love the burn time on the pro . It's not for everyone tho . Sam Davis also builds a nice line of lights too. Good luck with your purchase

100% accurate....myself over 40 yrs and hunted w/everything from 2-cell flashlight, wheat light and seen or tried everything out there! Love the soft white and it has a great halo to walk w, fantastic red for finding coon and great green for walking in summer!
