Copenhagen Snuff! Hands down best rub ever made. It's a little pricey, but you can't beat the quality.

Skoal Mint Long Cut, Or Skoal Xtra Mint Long Cut Taste and smells like winterfresh gum. Or even their Apple blend. Taste like Apple jolly ranchers. When im out camping in the woods sitting round the fire i like loose leaf such as Levi Garrett Or Beechnut

I switched to Long Horn a year or two ago $.99 per can at Sheets and Get-GO stores about $1.49 everywhere else. Just like switching to any other brand I wasn't real keen on it at 1st but once I got used to it I'd rather have it than Copenhagen or Skoal

Grizzly is my dip of choice, but try Stokers. It's comes in single can or like a one lb tub. I bet you'll be a fan.

Snuff

I dipped Copenhagen fine cut for 15years. Was using around 12 cans a week. Roughly $ 2,340.00 a year. Switched 3 years ago to Longhorn Fine Cut Natural. Only use roughly 10 cans a week. Rough cost a year is $780.00. That has saved a little over $1,500.00 in a year.
An extra $1500 a year can help with dog food prices or anything for Coon Hunting.
I actually like the LongHorn better than Copenhagen now. But it is just like anything else, when you have been acustomed to something for so long, change does take some time.
I tried to quit dipping one time, it lasted about 6 days and my wife came home on the 6th day with a roll of snuff and put it in front of me and said " Put a dip in or get out". She said I was too grouchy without it and would never ask me to quit again. This was 10 years ago.

Dip

Anything not fruity flavored, can't stand berry blend skoal. Mint, wintergreen, straight, natural, red man, Levi Garett. I'm 22 now been chewing since I was 13. Usually grizzly or Copenhagen. If you're trying to quit try smokey mountain chew at Walmart, no tobacco or nicotine. It's made from kudzu root and molasses, comes in wintergreen and straight maybe more. Those are the only ones I've tried.

I started chewing snuff 15 years ago because all my buddies were doing it and I wanted to be cool. I wish I never would have started. I don't have any health problems from it and surprisingly all my teeth are in good shape. But I sit here and think about how much money I have spent on it over the years, probably enough to buy a new truck. Copenhagen snuff is the best ,but I chew too much to be paying almost 5 dollars a can so I've been chewing red seal fine cut natural for a few years now. Every once in awhile I'll treat myself to a can of copenhagen though.

This is a serious question.

I love Grizzle Fine Cut Winter Green. But I only dip from Sept. – Jan. And limit myself to one can a week durning this time.

How many of you are missing teeth from dipping?

Loved that stuff. Can of red seal lasted as long as two cans of Copenhagen. Got to expensive. And got to the point where my gums always hurt. Every now and again I'd kill for a chew but most of the time I don't miss anything about chewing.

A little fatherly advice to you young guys. QUIT!!!! Snuff is probably the most addictive form of tobacco. It is easier to quit smoking than to quit dipping. If you continue to use snuff make sure you see the dentist every 6 months to check for gum recession , cancer , and infected and bleeding gums.

If you quit you are going to miss a few things. Things like nasty spit cups in your vehicle. That panicked feeling you get when you can't remember where you left your can of chew. Spending all that hard earned money on something that harms your health. And my favorite , that burnt spot inside your lip that hurts like heck. You know , constantly moving your dip to a place in your mouth that doesn't feel raw or burned.

My favorite was Skoal Wintergreen Long Cut. Dang that stuff smells and tastes good. Hope you can all give it up or at least cut back.
