Just wondering how many people would be upset with the breeder when it's been 3 1/2 months since you bought the pup and still no papers. I've tried being nice but this is starting to upset me
I normal don't respond to stuff on here and not trying to make things worse but it don't take long u can go to ukc dogs.com and in top of right hand corner in red it say processing papers recived on that includes litter registration and I sent in a litter registration just few weeks ago and had them back in about 3 weeks on a litter (might be lost in mail if mail if waiting sence January)

Question has the Breeder told you what is going on with the papers? Have you talked with the Breeder? Need more information. Just a heads up. It took UKC 2 weeks to process 5 of my dogs papers and they got lost in the mail. It is now over a month and I still do not have papers. UKC is processing them and told me it could take 5-7 for them to process them again. I had to wait 30 days before I could file for lost papers with UKC.

When I picked the pup up Jan 2 , the guy told me he was going home and sending the papers off that day . The pup was 7 weeks old when I picked it up.
He keeps saying I've sent them in , you'll get em when I get em . I've sent in numerous papers , it's never taken 3 1/2 months . He keeps blaming UKC for taking so long , I don't believe it . I wouldn't of bought the pup if I knew of all this trouble . But I've learned a lesson it won't happen again .

maybe the guy does not have the papers how old is the pup there are several pups missing out there that people are looking for. like the 7 pups missing that mike shannon and chuck west are looking for.
No , I'm sure it's not them , I've seen pictures of all the puppies and the mommy feeding them . He was born or so I was told Nov 13 2014 . And he's a male plott . I'm sure this guy raised em . He just keeps blaming UKC. For taking so long . Maybe I shouldn't be upset because of the wait
If you never got the puppy papers from the breeder the day you gave him your money and got the pup you have no one to blame but yourself.You should get the dog or pups papers the dog you get the dog or pup.If the person you buy the dog or pup from says they don't have the papers or will send them to you later.The best thing to do is keep your money in your pocket and let them keep the dog or pup and you look elsewhere.Might sound harsh to some but you really can't blame someone else for not getting your papers.
Sherlock here is what I would do. I would go on the registration board and find a real nice man by the name of Russell Smith. I would click on his name and send him a nice PM stating who you purchased this dog from. The name of the mother if you know it. Date of birth and all the info you know about the litter. There is information he cannot give out but he could probably tell you if the owner is having a problem getting the litter registered. He might tell you he has no record of that man even owning a UKC registerered dog. Then you can decide what your going to do. There might be a real registration issue and you may be able to help the man understand what he has to do and point him in the right direction with the right forms. I know some old timers don't have computers and all the forms to correct problems are on this computer. He might be frustrated himself and would appreciate your help.
