First the United Eastern Virginia Coon Hunters would like to thank everyone who came , who hunted or showed this weekend. Thanks to our Master of Hounds Willie Conner our bench show judge Wayne Steel on Fri. and Joe D'Arco on Saturday. Thanks to all. We had another great hunt and show, 104 on Fri. night and 89 on Sat night. The shows, 30 on Fri. afternoon and 44 on Sat.

just curious cause i hunted and judged sat night and our cst winner was hunting a 10 yr old dog named sugar. this was from the older gentleman w/him who said this was the boy's 4th hunt and he just wanted to hunt in it w/something so his buddy let him borrow this old nitech female. he wound up w/425+ and our dogs looked like dogs if u know what i mean and not altogether coondogs....lol! if the young fella could draw a cast like he had that nite he might stick w/it win or lose but know he will draw rough ones before it is over. from the way he talked fri was not real good for him but when u do not know the first rule it happens. sometimes when u know the rules it will happen.....have always enjoyed the hunt u boys put on.
