I picked two males and I've decided to keep the other male only because his looks remind me of a hound from my past. This is the only reason this male pup is for sale. The pup is paid up in the performance program. He has ran loose on the farm since I brought him home at three months. Had to pen both him and his brother up at a little over 4 months due to wanting to hunt hard. They started themselves. He is a very good acting pup, intelligent and isn't shy. He has lots of drive and already showing lost of indepedent tendencies. He would rather move his own track. This pup is starting to put it all together and wanting to tree. I have hunted him with an older dog the past month sparingly. But he is ready for the woods, he just needs a serious owner that would give him that oppurtunity. Basically I have closed my eyes and picked a pup. So it is time for someone else to enjoy developing the other. His dame (Dixie) has 3 wins towards Grand Nite and Brian hopes to get the time to finish her this spring. Ill try to post a few pics of him, he is a dark colored male, with a black head and dark rich tan markings, good show quailty prospect. He has a deep bawl mouth on track and a chop on tree. We bred these 2 dogs because we believe in the blood behind them and we think there attributes should mesh well. The litter all have nice loud mouths on them. Dixie has a lot of cast wins but only 3 night champ wins. Im hoping this spring I can find the time to finish her. Anybody interested in this pup can come by and go hunting with Dixie or some young'uns out of Dixie here at my place. This pup should make a nice one if put in the hands of a serious coonhunter.

Pup still here. I have a couple men to call back and talk with this weekend, so we shall see. But I am being really picky folks, really looking for a loving home that will give this pup every oppurtunity to make a hound. Also if pup made a hound to possibly show and hunt the pup in order to title. Lots of good hounds running through this pup. I hunted with it at 5 months old. He does not let grass grow under is feet. He will go strike with a nice mouth on him. Nice looking pup to boot. Seems to be a quick track dog.

Yeah he reminds me of him with his coloring and some of his actions. Brian these pups are coming along nicely. Now there is still a lot of time to tell, but I think the cross has the making of a good one.

SOLD! Well Skeeter will be headed to his new home in the upper North Iowa/Dakota border area this afternoon. Skeeter will be finished out and hunted with his half sister out of Mann's first litter. The gentlemen really likes what the female out of Mann has to offer. He wanted something else out of him. We are hoping that Skeeter will show him the same qualities, if not more in the months and years to follow. My boys were really tore up last night when I told them Skeeter was going to a new home. They wanted to keep both Cooter and Skeeter. Boy, didnt that just pull on my heart strings coming from a seven and five year old I wish Skeeters new owner "happy hunting", I really feel he is getting a hold of a nice young hound.)
