GRCH GrNiteCh Black Iron Strike

Been kicking around the idea of crossing him to a couple titled females. This year Strike has won over $1500 in open events in PKC mostly in $30 hunts. He done a lot of his winning with the leaves off back in October through December treeing coons. I have been hunting him in UKC mostly since. Titled him out to Grand about a month back. He won 1 of 2 sectionals in Arkansas this year and won his cast in the other, but got beat for KOH on circle point tie breaker. Strike won a truck ticket and a nationals ticket. He is most all the time by himself with a coon. He doesn't care what other dogs are doing. He very rarely backs a dog. He is a clean tree dog. Ball mouth on track. Has a short ball locate and then steady 60 to 70 Bpm on tree. He has only been bred once his pups are 8 weeks old. I'll show him in the woods any night I'm off. Strike will be paid up as a SS sire and Perf. sire. I'll try to get pedigree up ASAP.

I had the chance to hunt with Strike at the Super Stakes this year. And he is a nice dog. He got struck quick, is very independent and accurate. He won the cast that night. From what I can remember he was under 4 coons, by his self and never covered another dog. Very nice dog. Good luck with him Keith. Hope to see you in some more hunts.

Strike is a independent coondog! I also drew him at the SS this year and I was very impressed with him. But hunting with Keith and Lovis will get you in some serious trouble! Lol

Cross made

Made the cross with Strike and Darla. Pups should be on the ground mid November. Will be Performance and Super Stakes eligible. I will pay everything up on the pups. Will be de-wormed and puppy shots given and ready to roll. $350 each and $50 deposit will reserve a pup. Won't take deposits till after I see how many I have.

Strike Finished in $KC Top 16 this year in Arkansas and Breed. Won a truck ticket in $30 hunts with the leaves off and qualified for $KC Nationals. Strike won one of the two Arkansas B&T Sectionals entered in and tied winner of the other one and lost on circle point tie breaker. Strike will be put in bigger UKC and PKC hunts in 2015. I will have more free time to get him to them this year. Strike will be by himself and under a coon.

Darla is a hard treeing little bitch! She is quick on both ends and real easy to call. She is GRNITE and PKC CH and also won Arkansas State UKC hunt in 2013. She has won 2 of 3 black and tan sectionals she has ever been entered in from 2012 through 2013 in Arkansas.

Hopefully if all goes well I will have some Strike/Darla pups on the ground either tonight or sometime tomorrow. I don't think she will have as many this time. She isn't anywhere near as big as last time and she had 9 in her last litter. Maybe 6 this time. I know the last litter she had turned out to be real nice. They should be coming 11 months old soon. I don't know of any that aren't running and treeing.

Got few males left.

Still got a few males left from this litter if anyone is interested. Strike got in Final Four PKC hunt other night in Sheridan and ended up getting second place. Thats the third PKC hunt I have had him in this year. He won the first one treeing the only coon in the cast. Lost the second one by 25+, but had a coon by himself, other dog struck in ahead of him. Hunted him last night from 7pm to midnight and treed 6 coons and made one slick tree. Shortest track was about 600yds. He don't walk on water, but he can tree coons as good as anything. Arkansas State PKC hunt is right around the corner. Will have him ready for it as best I can.
