What JiM said, and the FAD factor.

Now that its legal for even honest people to do it, the shininess will soon wear off and they will be left with crossed up dogs that are no better than something you could get that's already in a breed.

To me having to go outside your breed to get better dogs means your breed or you as a breeder are a failure. No dog with my name on it will ever be crossbred. That being said I have hunted with some good crossbred dogs. I just think the same thing exists with purebreds.
