What is the best coon light out there?

I am looking LED, bump cap, bright, long lasting, all at the top! No battery pack with belt on my waist I want it all up top. Thanks

Sunfire Ultra Mini, Sunfire Ultra, or Sunfire Ultra HD
Ridiculous amount of burn time, bright or brighter as any light out there, extremely good warranty, built very well and great customer service. Depending on your budget, I would recommend the Mini. I have the Ultra and my stepson has the Mini, the Mini is the best bang for the buck in my opinion.

Bunch of nice lights out now . Brightest are around 100,000 lux give or take and many have color built in , some with multiple colors and at least the Boss 3d can have a laser pointer built in. All in what u like the most and all have other models to . Top of the lines are close to $300 and several nice ones around the $250 mark .

Sunfire
Boss
Laser Torch
BrightEyes

Michael Rosamond at McRae Arkansas builds the Sunfire light. That sunfire light definitely gets my nod. Absolutely love them. It's the brightest most reliable light I've owned in over 30 years Of coon hunting...now I haven't used every light on the market , but I've used several of them and the Sun Fire light is the one that I like the best of the lights I've used.

Right now I am hunting with the HD mini. Its not as bright as the 3D but it is close and it is WAY more comfortable. That means a lot to me.

I don't really see how the hotspot is considered heavy. I myself have never thought it was uncomfortable and I hunt 5-6 nights a week with it. Everyone has their own opinion but if its too heavy maybe you just shouldn't use a caplight.

Just went on the dog supply forum and found the weights of some of these lights.

Sunfire Ultra HD: 19.5 oz
Boss Hotspot 3D: 24 oz

So a 4.5 oz difference. We're talkin 4.5 oz. Not 4.5 pounds. When you put the Boss light on your head, yes you'll know its there, but I didn't expect to put it on and not realize I had a hat on. As far as uncomfortable, I don't know about all that.

Bayemup just a little more info for you the mini weighs 16.5 on the black bump cap..Their are a lot of great cap lights on the market and some good men behind them..Its up to the consumer which one they purchase..Each light has advantages..Thanks to all of our customers who choose to use the mini hd and the ultra hd..As always we have a 30 day money back guarantee of satisfaction.

Whats the diameter of the light heads? Are all the light heads the same size? I wonder if the 4.5 oz difference in wieght has something to do with 2 colored led heads instead of one?

Garminguru I like your post. Following this beats the heck out of watching "Dancing With The Stars" with the wife while we are locked into sub-zero weather.

Hot spot 3d

Not saying its the best but its the best light I have used. As far as being heavy, I was worried about that also but with a 30 day money back guarantee that most of the light builders give its a no brainer. Order one if you don't like it send it back. The only thing I did to my helmet was put another hole in the liner so it sat lower on my head and that helped tremendously. After using it this weekend I will never own another belt or box light.
