I have asked the same question several times and never got much response. Read on different threads about pups starting and treeing. I more interested in knowing what traits Mr. Clean seems to be passing onto to his pups. Maybe somebody will answer questions about Clean. It would be nice. Almost like nobody wants to talk about him.

Clean.

I know he's a winner. He does have some pups winning. I'm sure more than likely there won't be another like him. I would take that chance. The hound is a winner, what females has he been bred to, what have they won.

I don't think you will be sorry if you choose him. Remember though, he is only 50% of the equation. It takes a good female to get the right mix too.

As for Clean.....best coondog of this era .

I can give you some references to people with pups out of Mr clean that you can call and talk to them about the pups. However to say the traits come fromt he dam or sire would be a guess....

Mr. Clean is a coon dog, when you cut him loose he has one thing on his mind thats getting treed under a coon. No matter how far he has to go to do it, and he is quick about it. Very consistant night after night.

I have raised a few litters off of him out of different females, i can say that one of the traits is that they have big mouths on them. the females did not have such good mouths and all of the pups turned out to be very loud.

I do not know if i answered your questions, you are welcome to send me a PM and i can give you names and phone numbers of people who are hunting pups off of him. or have hunted with pups out of him. and try to get you the information you are looking for.

Mr Clean is a super good hound, maybe even a freak of nature. But you need to also ask what he is breeding as well. Some will bring just about anything to breed just so they can say they have Clean pups. Then you have those who really care and do their homework. It takes two to tango so don't lay all the pressure on Clean

Opinon

I never really cared what everyone was saying. We bred our female to him shes due March 10. She is a coon dog her first litter will be hitting the hunts this year. I can say she takes care of her side of the deal. All I know is as good and consistent as he is these are traits that I desired. I'm expecting a great cross. After this litter I have another great cross coming off some Frozen semen. Really excited about that one too.
