Astro 220 problem

My unit picks up perfectly fine up until about 75- 150 yards. Then just looses all signal with collar until I get back within range. I have put a new antenna on unit and tried many other collars than just mine. I have also programmed unit. Has anyone ever had this problem or know anything that might help? Any help would be great. Thanks

Most likely the wire going to the antenna is broken inside the garmin. You can take it apart and fix it yourself. Look on youtube there is a video that shows you how to fix it. Will take you about 20 minutes.
