Female not herself ?

She has not been acting right. Slick treeing , going back to same tree, looking at me standing around when I cast her. She has always been a get struck get treed with the meat type dog. Tonight my wife noticed her tits are bagged up and have milk. Being pregnant is not possible. What could be going on?

False heat or False pregnancy. Or she is getting ready to come into heat. They sure can act stupid and like a completely different dog before coming in. Hope this is the case with your female.

Sounds like false pregnancy to. I had a dog that would swell up and like she was pregnant and wasn't

Have her checked for tick disease and have her thyroid checked. Cheap to check and cheap to treat. The thyroid will throw harmones way out of balance and could easily show the symptoms you are describing.

Ive got one who is doing that after she came out of heat, I didn't breed her & I know she can not be bred...... Strangest thing.... She left a tree last week with a coon setting on the first limb..... Not like her at all....

Glad I'm not the only one who's female is going crazy. It's gotten so bad I almost bought a blue tick.

I had a female do this once before. Wasn't acting like herself and was producing milk. It was a false pregnancy. She was back to normal after a few weeks.

It could have something to do with the heat cycle or false preg. Mine did alot of the same things as fare as hunting and it was Rockey Mnt. spotted fever. This would have nothing to do with her bagging up.
