.

I have big legs and the Aero Head is about the only boot I can get over my calf with long pants on. I like the webbing in the back for that reason.

Mr. Conkey,
Do all of the Aeroheads have that gusset in the back??? I just saw a pair two days ago and noticed it. I too have big calves and can't wear most boots. It seems like to me when the Aeroheads first came out I looked at them and they didn't have the gusset??? Thanks for any info.

Arrowhead boots

I bought a pair last Christmas and I loved them. Around March they started leaking on the back, not bad enough to wet my whole sock but they were leaking. I took them back where I got them from and got another pair. A week later they started leaking in the same spot. So I gave up and just wear them now. But other then that I like the boots and they are very comfortable and light.

Comfortable yes.
Durable fair. Depending what your hunting is like.
Do i still have mine No. Did I buy another pair No.
Will I buy another pair probably not.
Right now trying the new boots dean miller is selling if they don't work out I will try the burly pro.

.

There was a flaw in the first boots as the seam was in the back. They soon figured it out and the boots being shipped now have the seam in the front which is covered by the front protection piece.

Mr. Msnic all the ones I have seen do. When you order them from your dealer ask them to have the chaps sewn low so you don't get restriction from the chap and you can take advantage of the boot expanding.

I'm on my second pair, by far the longest lasting Iv tried. I got a year and half out of the last pair, thats a year longer than any tried in the past. Hunt 3-5 nights a week, and walk everywhere, no 4wheelers. The heel stayed intact, when they did start leaking it was where the foot flexes. First pair had dans snake chaps, never did spring a leak. Second pair has the black bad lands chaps. So far I like how they fit my legs better.

badlands

I recently bought a pair of arroheads (pardon the spelling)with badlands chaps. The chaps are the best i have ever had, durable, briar and waterproof and flexible.I will not buy another pair of these boots. In the first 3 nites of hunting i have poked ahole in them and the heel of one of the boots on the inside is already letting go.Yes ,they are reasonably comfortable but i feel they are not nearly tough enough to stand up.I dont know how long ago you paid$100 for a pair of boots with chaps but these were$163 dollars. Also these boots have the flange on top but no strap to tighten them up so if you get in deep mud they have a tendency to want to come off.I have bought many pairs of boots and my favorite as far as comfort is the Dewey boots. If you can get them with the Badlands chaps i think you would be very satisfied.

Ive only had my Aeroheads about 2 months and they don't have a seam. They are one solid piece. Made like the old Lacrosse boots. And was told they are puncture resistant.
