None of these dogs are slouches at this point in the game, that tucker dog has also been racking up some nice scores and wins also!! Gene P.

If everyone remembers the last "old dog" to win the big one had Bryan at the reins then also. And let the plot thicken that old dog was the daddy of a dog they won the S.S. with before Bryan sold him. I.e. tucker so it looks to me like if you want in the winners circle the shortest route is threw Huntington Indiana.

Clean

I am truly enjoying these posts guys and gals and Ole Mr. Clean certainly has proven himself to be a coonDOG!!

Now don't get me wrong in any way as I'm sure Brian is as tough as they come as a handler, and Clean has proven time and time again that he has a heart as big as Texas. But you see guys I'm an English fan and have been since the day I brought home my 1st coonhound when I was 12 years old.

Ole Clean drew one nice English hound tonight and I'm pulling for the lone English hound in that cast to bring home the bacon, LOL. Most every dog at this point is probably pretty darned good at getting under a coon, so now it will come down to who makes the biggest mistake.

So CMON, BIG RIVER DAN, I'm pulling for you. Ole Clean is good, and to be crowned as the best, you have to beat the best. I cannot wait to see how this cast turns out. I will probably get fooled and the cast winner will be one of the other two dogs in that cast, LOL

But having said that Clean & Dan both have earned my respect, and I'm pulling for Dan.

Maybe because I am now 59 years old and have owned coondogs all my life, but have never owned anything but an ENGLISH. I may be just a bit biased, LOL GO ENGLISH!!!

No intention of offending anyone, I just like the thrill of competition,

Good Hunting to ALL!!!

I have a good story about Ole Tucker and me.I was up in Ohio Deer hunting and Bryan needed Tucker brought back to South Carolina so I picked him up at Angie Reids house in a mitsbishi Galant.I stoped at Walmart in West Union to get some oil for the car I opened the door to pop the hood I laid the keys in the drivers seat opened the hood poured in the oil came back around to get in and Tucker was standing there looking at me with his foot on the automatic door lock so guess what I'm 8 hours from home in the Walmart parking lot in west Union Ohio locked out by a Coon Dog.I swear he had devilish grin on his face setting there wagging his tail.I just happened to be staying at the Sherriff Kim Rodgers farm and I had to call him to bring me my extra set of Keys.Everybody got a good laugh out of it but that is the way most of my road trips end up you never know whats going to happen next.any way he stayed at my house a few days and we been friends ever since so I got to pull for my buddy Ole Tucker.By the way he likes Hank Jr and Jerry Clower we listened to them all the way home.Good Luck Buddy

Tucker

That is a great story Mike, Yes when those crazy things happen you just want to say "Why Me Lord".

Well my intuition was correct as neither Mr. Clean or my pick, Big River Dan won that cast, so common little Bluetick Gyp, hang with them spotted hounds tonight ,LOL.
