More getting acquainted with Rampage
And at times it is fun, some not so much. Took him trashing late this evening squirrel hunting and first thing he got in one of my electric fences not once but twice. The are super hot and that took all the vinegar out of him bad. He finally went on hunting but didn't act at all right and it just wasn't productive.
Waited a few hours and hit the woods coon hunting and I could still see some residual effects of the fence deal. Just kinda ignored him and let him do his thing. He finally went on and got struck and wound up in some of the worst places there is to get here. Luckily I had the machete on the 4 wheeler and even though I could driver within 60 yds of him it took me 30 mins to hack to him and then. I had to be standing on him to take a pic. There was no chance of looking for the coon because we were tunneled under the vines and understory and I could reach up and touch as far as I could see.
We got out of there and moved on and I cut him again and he had kind got his mind right by then and got on with the program. As luck would have it he ran this one right at a half mile and wound up in a couple pastures with yet more electric fences. Luckily they were cattle fences and high enough he could maneuver under them. I got to see that one so I know we were on the money on it. We are still working the bugs out but getting along just fine.
