Recognition where recognition is due - Shane Maxey

I would just like to thank Shane for all his work helping make good crosses in our breed. Shane is a great example of a sportsman and a person who is trying to improve our breed. I think that we could all learn from Shane how to work together. It is good to see Shane doing a bunch of winning, it is very well deserved.

I would like to encourage others in our breed to follow his example and do the same.

Keep up the good work Shane!!

John Dell!!

Thanks guys, I appreciate the kind words.
When I got back in...I set some goals and formed a plan to reach those goals. I knew I couldn't make it work without the help of others and I am truly grateful for the help I have received from others along the way. I have enjoyed helping and working with many of the redbone folks out there all over the country and hope to meet and work with many more in the future. Many of the goals I set were long range goals....and some are still a few years off. It takes several generations of select targeted crosses to create the kind of dogs I set out to breed....but we are getting closer with each generation. Never let anyone tell you that you are not good enough or capable of doing something many think is impossible. You have to reach for the stars if you ever hope to capture one.
Where there is a will, there is a way and when like minded people with common goals put their heads together to solve problems and improve upon already great things.... truly amazing things can come out of those efforts.
I am thankful to be living in the greatest country on earth with the freedom to have different ideas and the resources to develop those ideas, because with ideas, resources, and a burning desire to improve something...anything is possible!
Again, thanks for the support and good luck to everyone who loves and hunts this breed....shane
