I have a question....

How do you score a dog on a tree that is at the
tree when the judge arrives but not declared treed
and coon is seen.

Is the dog treeing or just hanging out/milling around? Is he barking? Has he been struck? If so was he struck before the first dog was treed? I guess that we would have to have been there to know what to do.

The dog was struck in. The handler did not think it was his dog treeing
he thought it was another dog in the cast. Only one dog was declared treed.
When they arrived at the tree the dog that was declared treed was there and
a dog that was already struck in was there treeing not milling. How do you
score the dog that is there treeing but not declared treed.

Rule 4 (F) dog(s) coming in to tree will get minus on track and nothing on tree if coon is seen. So to answer your question the dog should have been minused it's strike points.

Depending on how the tree is scored. So you need to score the tree first to determine how to score the dog treeing but not declared treed.

If a coon is seen = strike points minus

If it's a circled tree = circle strike points

if it's a slick or offgame tree = award next available tree points then minus both strike and tree points.
