Lil RED

I believe it was in 2010 she had over 2000+ in a hunt in Indiana. I might be wrong but it was a unheard of score.

Don't know the total but id say around 15 times moonlight Kate scored over 1200
At English days she had over 3000 in two nights
One night at a state hunt she had 1400 and was scratched the judge said she was in heat on the last drop she came in heat two weeks later lol
The highest I can remember her having was something like 1675
I scored 1300 with one of Kate's daughters
a Double grand daughter of Kate's i gave to a friend scored 1475 but didn't get card back in time only hunt she has ever been in or may ever be in

I scored 800+ at Redbone Days with Mongo one year. I tried to get them to just walk it out after 500+ because that was the highest that I had ever scored up until then. But they made me keep turning him loose.

My old Patty female scored 1100+,(but had 75-) on Sat night the year she won overall at southern days. I've had a number of 4 coon scores over the years too. One thing is for sure though its alot easier to get that bigger score in little patch woods that are littered with coon, then it is in BIG woods and thin coon. It seems like around here about the time you start to rack up any kind of good score you end up making that one dump where the dogs have to get DEEP just to find a coon and it burns up alot of hunt time.

Little Pepper scored 1412 1/2 at American Redbone Days in Oak Harbor. It was a GrNt cast and all 4 dogs hunted stayed in the cast. And a Walker dog owned by Jerry Rains that I think was leading the purina points at the time was in this cast.It was action packed.Little Pepper scored over a 1000 2 other times and plenty over 700 800 and 900 range. He the type of dog that could put up a good score.

Miss Piggy

scored 1800+ and no minus, in a 2 hr hunt. she made 8 trees and had 8 coon. It also was a four dog cast. With three walkers in the cast. Miss Piggy has 5 or 6 hunts with scores over a 1000+

JESSE
If my math is correct that's 8 first strikes and 8 first trees in a 4 dog cast, can't ask for anything better, OUTSTANDING

Please Post the Hunts

Jesse,

I would like to know what hunts and time frame this occurred. The dog must of treed a coon every 15 minutes on average, must of had every dog in cast on every tree and no split trees. How Many Hunts have you seen like that? Also, I hear your Quaker Boy won the Delaware Governors Cup where is his first place win? Did you win the hunt or place third in a hunt with the dog? Also how are you hunting so much without wheels?

yea , spot hunted, and the dogs stayed together all night. I kno bc they usually don't stay together and split up. but everything wen t well that night as far as that. but that doesn't happen offen, actually more times than not , when dogs split up an such. But that night it worked great. We made a tree, scored it ,called time out and went to another woods. it was some great huntin with a good guide, and Miss Piggy looked like a well oiled machine. But No, for the most part it hardly never goes like that. Most of the time dogs split up and do their own things. But to do it , u got to get a good guide who spot hunts , makes a tree and goes to a new woods. Manage the clock , and of course hope all the dogs hunt and stay together. I hunt at least 4 or 5 nights a week, when my ol man don't take me, he drops me off around the house. But he goes when he can to listen to the dogs, he don't do much walkin, hes got two bad knees. Rev Red( the one that won the world show so much) and Little Girl

Now this has a while ago but seems like Rev had 1200 or so doing lay-ups at Winter Classic and Little Girl not long after that had like 1300 mainly hunting by herself at English Days.
