Dna?

About how long is it taking to get DNA results back after you send them in? I've got a dual sired litter (possibly) on the way and curious how long it's going to get them all sorted out.

Thank you!

Looks like if I do it correctly it should be good to go by the time they are ready to leave.

Hi Melanie
Hopefully it'll work that way for you. The lab kept requesting new samples, so it took months to finally get the last ones figured out. I think we sent the first samples in before the pups' eyes were open and they were around 5 months old when the sire of the last one was determined.

Chawn, I remember that..... I hope so also. I'm really hoping I don't have to keep a litter that long.. I'll end up keeping them all

Hope all is well for you!!

I'll be curious to know how it works out for you.
I'm kicking around the idea of another dual-sire litter this fall.
