Mr. Meyers I have to assume something here which is always dangerous. Is it a DC 40? From what your telling me it sounds like a total failure and it needs to go back to garmin.
Good news is, if you have an astro 320 they will send you a DC 50 for $110 which is giving you about $120 for that DC 40 which is about the going used price for one working.

One thing I might try is put it on the charger and try to turn it on with the charger connected. If still nothing then Garmin is about your only hope. Again I am assuming your are checking all your connections on the charger and everything is being connected properly. If you have a volt tested you can check quickly check the voltage from the charger.

If you have another collar you can swap the batteries around in a few minutes to check out the problem also.

Bruce it is a dc30 it works fine with what power I have left on battery from the last charge. It jus won't charge anymore and blue light doesn't come on. Yes I have cleaned contacts and tried different chargers.

Try unplugging the battery for about 15 seconds then plug it back in and put it on charge.
