I would take him to the vet to make sure that is what it is. If you just want to try to cure it on your own then go to the drug store and get some powder sulfur. Mix it in warm cooking oil and cover him in it. It makes a freaking mess but if it is sarcoptic mange it will clear it up.

Ivomec will help it. Have to give a small amount every day for 30 days. Youll have to ask a vet how much. Mine mixed me some up with vitamins and I dont know how much he used. While folks dont like you to say it. Burnt motor oil will fix it to. I guess its the sulfer in it though.

if its the mange sulfer and motor oil ought to take care of it,ive never seen it not work.i would take a paint brush and brush the sulfer and oil all over him,and make sure he can stay warm,i always did this during the summer and never when it was cold.from what little ive seen never use corn shucks or tote sacks for bedding, every time i tried this the dog ended up with the mange for what ever reason.

It could be Lupis (spelling). It looks like the dog has mange, but won't clear up. Buddy of mine dog has it, hound looked fine then started loosing hair.

clean your pens with the blue dawn dish detergent. It's biodegradable and want hurt your dogs. Should clean most of the oil right up. Spray and let set a few minutes then just hose off

Hey man, Easy off oven cleaner will bring oil off of concrete. I worked at a car dealership for about 13 years and we used to use it all the time to remove oil stains from concrete. Just spray it down good and let it set for a while then spray it off real good...... Also the dog could have allergies that can cause raw looking spots on them and they dig them like crazy or could be hot spots. Either way I'd take the dog to the vet and have it looked at if it is allergies or a hot spot they will give a spray to help the dog and I think antibiotics. I have had this issue a few times with our house dog...
