The G2 is a good head but there are SEVERAL heads that are brighter.

I liked mine, but found one brighter. Valley Creeks ole blue. Much brighter but only one bulb. Have to use a pop cover, but I can live with that.

I choose amber mainly because right before Autumn Oaks all the coon were looking when we used a amber pop cover. Also the amber is a great color to walk with.At first I was unsure if I made the right color choice but found out quick that it works good for shining and walking.Another thing good about the G2 head is the dimmer switch. This is just my opinion and I know some won't agree.

I have both the g2 and the boss cats eye both have the red led both are good heads but for some reason I lean towards the cats eye as my favorite between the two

Both companies have excellent customer service as well

I think you can get a g2 with 2 color LEDs , seen one a while back on one of the hunting sites that had a red and green led.
