Medication to halt heat cycle in my female

Looking for medication or shot to keep my female from coming in heat. Hate to do this but really want to hunt in the world hunt this year and she usually comes in around that time. Thanks

Read the warnings!
If you intend to breed her one day this may mess her up!

Just a heads up.

For sure....be careful. Sometimes the female will never come in heat again. Seen it more than once. I personally wouldn't take that chance.

Meds

Not sure what I used on Jane but it didn't hurt her. I use it on two other females too and I raise or got pups from every female I used it on. But it can keep them from having pups and other side effects. We'll time to go hunting

I used it. Whole mine didnt stop coming in heat. She was crazy. Come in here and there. Maybe 9 months. Might be 15. Then 6. Even had infections bad when she started getting older. I asked my vet did he think the ovaban I used yrs ago cause any of this. He said probably that back then they prescribed way to much and he will not give it out anymore. Anyhow she's 12 now and no sign of heat in 3 yrs.

Cheek drops or cheque drops don't know the spelling but it is progesterone (steroid) but you need to call a vet specializing in the reproductive area and they also use it to change heat cycle timing. Ovaban which was mentioned earlier is the one the vet specialist did not recommend for this. I think the pg600 is the cheque drops.
