No Color LEDs but in the future we are working on an attachment for the light you see... the spot is tight but not as tight as other perfect for walking AND shining a tree. the burn time of this light is 2.5 hours on high and over 110 on low. As far as brightness i will let the light speak for itself!

It has a 4 position switch. There are pop covers that's will fit it but they are not available at this time with the light... Like I said in earlier post there will be color to where you can attach it to the existing light

Guy I got my bayou light Saturday and would not trade it for anything. It's brighter then any light I have used so far or hunted with. I can't wait till he gets the color light option done so I can get it also. Grab one and try it out I promise your hunt for a new light will be over.

Bo, The color option is approximately 1 month out. Just waiting on the machine shop. It will feature Red, Amber, and Green LED's. If you can make due without the colors for now, you can order the bayou and the colors can be added when the housings come in.

I'm looking at the light but I have a few questions.

Is it 14 oz including the bumpcap?

Will it be red green amber all in one or will we choose between the three?

Is it balanced or front heavy?

Is the head produced here or is it from China?

Thanks

Banger, I will have to let Jake answer about the 14 ounces as I wasn't there when he weighed it, but I can answer the rest of your questions.

In my opinion the light is extremely well balanced. I believe that it is one of the most balanced lights available.

You will have all 3 colors in one light, and it is all controlled through the switch. You have 4 forward clicks for the main white light, then you turn it backwards for low and high for each of the colors.

Finally, and very important to me, this head was designed, is machined, and is assembled in the U.S by Jake, myself, and the machine shop that we use.

Thanks,
Rob

One more thing that I see hasn't been mentioned, and you can't see from the pictures, is that the switch is on the head. It is right about where the knob used to be on the old wheat light heads.
