IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT concerning 2014 UEB&FA English days..... Im so excited to announce that we will be holding a UKC coonhound only CONFORMATION SHOW with Junior Showmanship Classes on Saturday after the regular bench show. All details concerning entries, fees and pre entries will be in the may issue of coonhound bloodlines. Also on friday after the bench show, I have put together a conformation seminar (not one of ukc's judging requirements seminars) with 2 well respected and skilled people that will be serving as our instructors. This will be held in the main building in the conference room. There will be a slide show on basic conformation and show techniques for conformation shows. Immediately after the seminar on friday, I have arranged for a "fun match" for anyone who wants to practice with their dogs and get helpful tips. No points or prizes, just a run through match with our instructors. Again ... this is coonhounds only but is open to all coonhound breeds! We are the first breed association to do this type of event and i hope you all can make plans to join us. Peggi is handling the pre entries and has been so helpful to me in getting this scheduled. Please spread the word and come out and join us! I look forward to see everyone there!! English days is being held in Bluffton, Indiana at the Wells County 4H Park on June 5-7.

please note - if you have kids that want to show in the conformation show only, they have to have a number from UKC before the day of the show. Parents will need to call UKC to get this number. I just found this out, we don't want any kids to show up and not be able to show.

I think that's a wonderful idea, I personally, would LOVE to start doing conformation events but dont have many near me on a regular basis, so at least I would be able to attend one while I'm already attending a breed event. Two birds with one stone kinda thing!

Hi there!

I just wanted to let you know that your club should be receiving its license pack in the next 5 to 10 days and in it will include Junior Showmanship applications that parents can fill out to get Junior Handler numbers assigned to the kids. These can be sent in with the event results to be recorded on the kids' records.

I was thinking abt having a conf show during the Grand American in 2016. The 2015 show is the 50th anniv so it will be already packed!
