Sorry to hear of his passing.
I just met him one time and won't say I knew him very well, but his actions and accomplishments speak for him. Personally, I can't turn a dog loose without seeing his influence.
I think if a person could draw up the perfect plan for how a man from outside the breed could come in and truly help the B&T Breed, Mr. Chenoweth would be it.
A man with resources, integrity, knowledge and intelligence to come in, just buy the best B&T he could find, promote it at a high level and make the dog available to everyone and stay above the static, politics, and jealousy. The B&T breed sure could use a few more like him.
Several of us felt recognition for him was short, so a few years back we got together and presented him this plaque.
