It is true but by the time you send them yours you will have about $160 in it if nothing has changed, which is not a bad deal.
If, and I do say if, you can get the right person on the phone, you may be able to get a "refurb" 320 for little to no money above what you are already paying.
I was able to do this for a guy on here the last time I dealt with Garmin and it was as good a deal as the 220.
