UKC PLEASE ANSWER ASAP Can sponsors of a hunt be a Brewing Company

We might be able to have a sponsorship for a added event. The sponsor will be a Namebrand brewing company. We will advertise this event with a Nascar theme and need to know if this is a go or nogo since its a brewing company. Thank you.

Will be interesting to hear the answer. I think Conkey took this pic a few years back at the Winter Classic.

There was a thread on here with some complaining about Budweiser banners and sponsorship at the Winter Classic.

that is a fact that budweiser sponsors the winter classic so don't see why one cannot sponsor your's. most average people out there uninformed think most of us coonhunters r just a bunch of guys who sit on the tailgate and get drunk while letting a bunch of dogs run loose barking but what the hey! a sponsor is a sponsor. not saying but just saying.

No PM NO response yet. We need to know ASAP please. We are being considered possibly for a $1000 added, our paper work for UKC has to be in by May 1 and the Central Indiana Coon Hunters would appreciate a yes/no and for future references to other clubs I thought it would be good to show open response.

We know that no alcohol, drugs are allowed at Hunt Location, this is understood and accepted.

To those that have a problem with this. I am a very conservative born again christian. I personally am not a drinker, I dont think its a sin to drink (prove it in the Bible if you think it is, I am not a legalistic). The possible brewing company is a huge sponsor to Fishing tournaments, outdoor sports, racing ect. If anyone on here says its wrong and you goto a sporting event or race that is sponsored by drinking, chewing, smoking then you my friend need to understand that is called hypocricy because when you buy a ticket to these event it supports the Sponsor of the event!!

Like posted above. I saw that banner at the winter classic several yrs ago. You can bet they gave something. It was a big banner If they didn't have a problem with it then. They shouldn't now. If they dont like it. Have a non sanctioned hunt. Advertise the heck outta it. Include sponser name on everything. Either way I'd go ahead an tell I wanted the 1000

Bradley,

Sorry, we've been kind of swamped the last couple of days. The short answer to your question is yes, they can be a sponsor. Like Mark V said though, no samples!

The picture that Bruce Conkey took is from the Winter Classic when it was in Albany. The Budweiser distributor was a sponsor of that event. They provided the big eagle statues that were given as prizes as well.

Good luck with your event!
