R.F. Dickey

Roland Dickey was my father who passed away last year. He was an avid coon hunter and the owner of world champion coonhounds. I am interested to know if anyone has any late 1980 or early 1990 editions of coon hound magazines that might contain articles by or about my father. Please let me know if you do, I would like to order as many of them as I can. There is one particular I am interested in that contained an article written by my dad about his life and coon hunting. I believe the name of the article was "The Thinking Place".

Try English classifieds

You may want to post this in the coohound classifieds in the English section. I haven't seen any articles but there are some old ads that he put in magazines.

It would be an honor to find what you're looking for and send it to you. I started hunting in 1983 and your father was "the big time" of coonhunting. I have most of my old American Cooner, Coonhound Bloodlines and even Full Cry from that era. I'll see what I have and get it sent if I have anything with your father in it.

I met your day ALONG time ago lol....back in the late 70s early 80s...when a lot of platte valley blood was being bred to JR blood.......anyway it was one of the highlights of my hunting tenure , and I was just a kid at the time.

sorry I don't have the magazines from those days anymore, but if I did you would sure be welcome to ALL of em
