He came in fourth.....
I haven't seen his papers but I was told that Hawk is out of a bunch of 'PR' dogs but he goes back to Hoffmeister's Rusty Red and his grandmother is a littermate sister to the Heidi dog that Gr Nt Big Red Jim is out of. Now this is 3rd party info from someone who has not seen his papers also. Heyward was not at the big hunt this weekend, only his handler.

Hey Mark, I was thinking this morning about a cross you should make. I am serious about this one I think you are on to some secret no one has figured out yet.
You have a Mandolin that is out of a Fiddle and you bred it to a Banjo and so far you have been doing good with your instrument line. You need to take one of those Banjo females and breed it to a Guitar dog. Make sure you name the pup you keep Dobro. All you will need then it to find a dog named Bass and buddy you will be playing coonhound music for years . Once again I am not kidding.

I want to know his pedigree because I have a book I keep stud dog pedigrees in. That way I can try to figure out what might work into my breeding plans down the road. That and I wonder what the breeder did to make a dog like Hawk.

Thanks guys ! Hawk is heavy Hoffmeister Bred he goes back to Rusty Red ,Bomber, Clarkes Tree Fiddlin Snake he is a 2 yr old well balanced hound gets through the country and about 75-80% accurate me and Heyward have done a lot of work on him to get him where we are today. He will not be up for stud at all in case anyone was curious we just like to hunt and drink beer and have fun not in this sport at all for publicity or for bragging rights just plain out fun that's how we ROLL 👍👍👍👍👍
