Alpha Drop Pin

On the Alpha you can touch the screen anywhere and a drop pin pops on the screen, can this be disabled?

Thanks

Apparently not. You can remove it by touching the X. But apparently no way to disable. Is there anyone that doesn't hate that thing?

As far as I know it can not be disabled. But if you touch the screen (harder) with more pressure it will not pop up. It only pops up with a light touchl Hope this helps.

Still pops up on mine with any pressure of push. Good to know about the X, that does help some.
