Longest gyp hung while breeding

Bred a 3 year old male the other day, stayed hung up for 63 minutes, is this normal? Have bred him before and it was around the 20 minute mark.

A buddy of mine bred his grade cat/coon dog to my male a few times in the last week. One time it was just over 50 minutes and the other was just under an hour... I think some just "hang on" a little longer than others. I haven't bred him to any other females so not sure if its him or her

I've always heard it is the female whom holds the tie, we breed golden retrievers where I work and the times always range from 10 minutes to an hour. I wouldn't be to worried.
