.

I won't use the word better but it can do more.

It will track DC 50 collars
It will allow you to use Birdseye Sat. Imagery on it.
It holds more track information
It has slightly larger screen
You can perform wireless transfer

Main downside is because it has a larger operating platform, it will use batteries faster. Lot of guys purchase a power cable and keep them plugged into their truck when traveling or around the truck to save on batteries.

It also picks up 21 more satellites that the 220 will not
The compass is a 3 axis so you don't have to hold it flat to get the right direction of your dog. 320 has 9 mile rating 220 is rated at 7. 320 will track dc 50 220 will not.

I have had both. I like the 320 better. But that's my opinion.
