Frozen semen

I’m sure this has been posted before but was wondering who has semen stored and what dog it is from. Sure there has to be some out there off of some nice studs of the past.

Careful

Using frozen semen if not putting directly in uterus. Sure NO guarantee getting female bred using frozen stuff. Found out hard way, lots of cost & no Country pups. Take care, Ron.

You've got to be doing multiple progesterone tests leading up to the insemination to have any chance of hitting that 24 hour window. Even with that, no guarantees.

Vic

I did 3 tests. was up to 5.7 on Friday, so clinic told us to AI on Sunday @ 2:00, which we did. Just didn't happen for us this time. Maybe next year!!! Take care, Ron.

Tucker’s Boomer

I have a breeding stored in Ohio for sale, check the stud page. Boomer was a reproducer along with his sons, daughters and grandkids. I had plans to cross Big Country blood with Boomer but I am quitting coonhunting altogether.

That stinks Ron! I know you were looking forward to getting some BC pups on the ground. The little bit of experience I’ve had the Clinic recommended Transcervical or Surgical placement of frozen semen directly into the uterus.

University of Missouri

I can say nothing but great things about the university of Missouri . I had 3 previous attempts on some of the best females in the country only getting 1 pup . After some valuable advice University of Missouri was recommended and the result was 13 pups . Any future Rattler inseminations will be handled by them.

We lost one of the best

We lost one of the best, when Dean at Never Gone passed. Prayers to Deans Family. I used Dean over the past few years with a 100% success. My smallest litter was 8 pups and my largest was 14 pups. Dean AI all my females using frozen semen. Dean was a good man that passed much to young! Again thoughts and prayers to his family.
