But the way this one came to do both was by her running loose, she started very young treeing squirrels so when season came in I started hunting her on them, she watches them in the timber and is very nice. The coonhunting part came after squirrel season. She picked it up just as easy as the squirrels. The upside is she is a very fun dog to hunt. The down side is smart dogs learn fast as to what to do to keep a squirrel from leaving the tree it's in. Squirrel hunting changes a dog but I really like mine.
What blood and do you ever breed her? Not much into comp. hunting, just do it for the pleasure.
