Bluetick male that throws hard hunting pups.

I'm looking for a male bluetick to breed a bluetick female to.The male bluetick has to be known for throwing hard hunting fast one way track dogs.
I already know all the sayings, and jokes about booticks,so save your ink. They were funny the first ten times i heard them, but boring now.
Any constructive idea's?

wow, your female has a very nice pedigree. Would look good with BoBo's, he's Rambo3 by a full sister to Rambo 2. Id dare to say BoBo has more Rambo blood in him than any other bluetick stud out there today.

My buddy has a good boodog hes looking to breed. He has a post on the Bluetick Classified section titled "Cheap Stud Fee". Check it out for his pedigree and more info.

Roger

how is the rest of that litter doing. every one I have owned except one of blaze were as hard of hunting dogs as they're where around bar none. I really think you should talk to Kelly Littlejohn and see if roc is still capable

Bodacious, I understand lots of his work is done deep and alone.

Why look past your back door?
I know it's to close to home to breed to Mose but he should put some go in the pups. The Lucy gyp has all the go anyone needs.

You're getting too old to have a dog that hunts hard. You should breed her to Hambo. You get tough close hunting layup tree dogs. There will be no pup deals and the stud fee is high. Excess pups move real quick. Class has been wanting a pair from a good gyp.

There hard to find,

runs ever track to catch
never mis a coon
hunts hard and fast
trees ever lay up
one bark tree dog
never has pulled
barks 100+ in 80 degree weather after running hard for an hour
not fussy
super kill dog
looks to spare
pups guaranteed not to be trashy
all pups must run and tree at 6 months old
never beat in competion or pleasure
above all they must handle good

Should be no problem finding one.

Earthgirl1975,do you know for a fact Bo Bo is throwing hard going, get in the dark quick pups?

Tom Jones,i'll look into Rock.I heard from a couple people that his pups go hunting.Several in the Bullet II X Ruby litter are slow to go hunting. Not all of them, but several.I don't understand it because the parents aren't that way.

Bigorangebuddy,i'll find the ad,and read it.

Blueticker,i know i'm getting old. That's why i want the dog to do the work.I want to sit on the tail gate, then figure the best way to get to the dog treed.I need my sleep, and don't want to wait a half hour for a dog to mosey on down the creek to get struck two hundred yards from me.If Hambo throws close hunting layup dogs, then i won't breed to him.I hunt creeks that have very little timber along them, and run for miles. Not pecan groves,or feeders.I want to breed to a dog that throws pups that get deep fast if they have to.
I'm more than willing to breed to a male near my back door if it's proven that he throws get in the dark, hard hunting pups.Forgot about Lucy out of Mose.Do you know if lots of his pups have that little extra drive?

I'm not putting anyones dog down with this post.I am asking a simple question, and know what will suit me.Don't want to just raise pups, but will probably keep the whole litter if i find the male i'm looking for.

Uchtman's Zeb
Bodacious
Littlejohns Rock
Mose
Bo Bo
Roscoe
Have been mentioned to me as males that may throw get in the dark quick pups.

What about

What about the big littermate male to John C. Jewel bitch, does he have any pups.

This floors me as I figured if anything would make them bitches from that cross reproduce like they should have that a bullet stud would. I am saying that because most crosses on them just havent work for some reason or another.

What does ol' Mr. Charles have up their in Kansas for stud dogs.

oh ya

another that is proven (of course you didnt get what you wanted the first time) is Tony's rattler dog. He throws hard huntin hounds with 90% of his females like Blaze

I doubt there is any cross in the bluetick breed capable of hunting as hard as the cross the Rock and AJ came from ... I seen AJ put hunt in gyp that was about as under your feet and no account as there ever was .

Tom,i haven't hunted with anything out of Mike(Jewels littermate),so don't know.I don't know a Mr Charles so can't answer that question.
I got everything i wanted from the Bullet II,Ruby cross except the get in the dark quick. My young female probably hunts plenty hard enough for most people, but i'm looking for a touch more drive.

BoBo, the way to go...

I'm not a Bluetick guy, but I've been in the woods with several pups out of Frosty Blue BoBo. All I have seen have been early starting, loud mouthed, hard hunting, tree dogs. I was very impressed with all of them at their young age. Dad had one that ran and treed with the old dogs her first night in the woods. Looked good. About 2 nights later she split-treed and had the coon. Nice female. Guy around here has litter mate sister to her that he really likes a lot.

Just my opinion about Blue stud dogs.

Keep 'em brindle!

you should check out Bluetickers Rebel Dog. It looks good on paper. As well I have a young pup out of Ritchie McDonalds D-Con dog. She has a lot of drive. One more that is out there and it is Scotty Greens Scooter Dog. I have hunted with him a little and he has a lot of drive.

I cant tell you what kind of hunt he is throwing in pups, but i can tell you that is the hardest hunting Bluetick i have ever seen cut loose. Maybe the hardest hunting hound i have been with period.

If this breeding doesnt suit you then i would suggest checking out David Crosby's Smokin Joe dogs. They seem to be super hard hunters

I'd breed her to that grinder dog that the man just posted a pedigree and picture of. Stack up some more of that smokey river spud and be's blue jean blood. I've allways had the best luck trying to train pups that were a little inbred and doubled up on something or triple blooded something. Allways seemed to work better for me.

clear river diamon jim is out of curly, not misty blue. curly is off the spud x jean cross.

Justin, I have seen some off a.j. that wouldnt go hunting also. I promise they are not throwing anymore hunt or drive then what Roger's gyp is out of or the rattler dog. I had one myself off Blaze that was a nice lil' gyp and look good sometimes but just didnt have the drive. I have seen well over 2 dozen or so that flat blow a hole in the dar and you dont see them tell they are tree'd no matter how far and they want to be first one their.

you can get lazy dogs every now and then as far as getting yonder when spany is involved and he was a dominant reproducer. jmo

Roger, If you ever get down this way around central oklahoma I have a well bred nitech male I will show you and possibly a pup or two. 405-520-5416

I have hunted with a number of pups out of Zeb and every one of them had all the go you could want, more than some folks want.

One pup I hunted with out of Zeb had a mother that wouldn't hardly get out from under your feet. I know because I owned her for a while and tried to hunt her.

She was bred to Zeb and the one female I hunted with out of her would get in the dark pronto.

I have hunted with maybe 6 or 8 pups out of him and not a lazy one in the lot.

The Echo dogs have a lot of go also.

Tom Jones has one, and the Bodacious dog is another.

Troy Sheffield's Pete dog, Tom's dog's sire, is another.

Echo stuff is crossing well with the Bullet blood. The Pellet dog and Tom's dog are examples.

Rebel isn't a fly through the country dog. By himself, he will return in 30 to 45 minutes if he doesn't find a coon to tree. A mile will normally catch him on distance. When he returns you can send him the other direction and get the same deal. If you put him with something he knows they will get treed somewhere. My old Joe dog was hard hunting hound that didn't return (Chief X Ruby). Joe was a Gr. Nt and a nice hound, I wouldn't trade the tip of Rebel's tail for Joe.

Cory's Bob dog is (Pete X Ruby) Bob is a hard huntnig hound that can tree any type coon.

studs

I would try for rattler myself....I had two out of him, and they both went HARD....you might check into quinton neals mike dog, jewels littermate....she goes as hard as a person could want, and I have heard he is the same...not sure what his pups are like, but I have heard good things about them too....
