The Adventures of Blueticker and Ole Rebel

Sure wish they would return, made for some really good reading on these cold, snowy, iced over nights. Good way to keep up with the Bluetick world in SE Kansas, SW MO, NW Ark and NE OK..........Tim

Rebel Pups

I spoke with Dennis last week, he's still treeing coons. I know he likes his young male named Hoss. I have a Nt. Ch Female (Littermate to Troy Sheffield's Zeb dog) due to have Rebel pups anytime now.

Dennis also said he recently bred 2 Gr. NT females to Rebel as well. One Rambo bred female from LA, and a Gr. NT female out of Cory Mailes Bob dog from around Ava, MO. Its good to see Rebel get some nice females, as I do believe he throws some nice looking tree dogs capable of treeing coons. Dennis stated he hadn't really bred him much at all over the last year.

same here

Miss the stories & pics of their hunts in that area. Even worse with the cold snowy winter we're having. Take care, Ron.

Arrow Blueticker

Tim,

Rumor has it that since retirement, Blueticker has hung up his boots and light. Spends most evenings sitting in front of the fire knitting and doing crossword puzzles. That's what I heard anyway...............

What heard was Deb kicked him out, he sold rebel to a friend of his in Se Oklahoma, and he moved to Hollywood to participate in the legalized same sex marriage so he would have Obamacare coverage since he isn't working any longer. He was trying to decide if he should go to California or spend thirty days in rehab to get his head straight before going.

Always ready to hear more from Dennis and Rebel. I hunt two of Rebels sons and have an 8 month old granddaughter of Rebel out of Lowell Stewart's Reb and Dixie. My 6 year old son Clay shot out many of the coon this season. He says "I like split trees, I like shooting out the coon, but I like it even more when the tree togather and you can feel the ground shake".

Thank you. I live in El Dorado Springs, MO but spread my hunting out over about five counties.

Lowell
Twist will be giving the boys a run for their money next season. She likes a good fight.
