I have an 11 year old bluetick. I got him from a guy about 7 years ago. Took me awhile to get the papers on him. Just wondering if anyone knows anything about the dogs behind him. He's not a comp dog in my book. But he will tree you a many of coon. He's a solid broke pleasure hound in my book. He is a very big part of my family. Gonna try and list his pedigree. What I would like to do is breed him to female from a pleasure hunter. He is not paid up in anything only ukc registered. I know that holds alot back. But thats all he has ever been. So if your interested in breeding to old kovu let me know. Or if you know any of his family chim in.

is very well bred, nice amount of older Smokey River breeding... I tried my very best to buy Misty Blue Fancy from her original owner after seeing her first litter of pups.. Couldn't make it happen... How Emet Brohard got her off of John Lienchek ??? I'm guessing a stack of $$$$$... Be proud of the ole boy and keep him warm and well fed.. God Bless...

Thanks Wayne,

He is as close to child to my family as a dog can be. Don't take him hunting much. Just a little here and there. except when we have young person that wants to see what coon hunting is about. Then you turn ole kovu for a quick drop and they get to see a coon. Hope to get a junior out of him.

How Ya Doing,
I use to talk to Tom Russell alot.I sold him Salley she was a real nice coon dog.she had three big locates on her and would roll it over to hard chops and stayed treed.Smoker was off of ol Diam Jim himself.Every litter she would have pups that would have a kink in their tails.she was as nice as they come.
If you could get your males semen checked to see if he is still good would be a wise move at his age.it could save you alot of time and $$ in the long run.I would say getting a female lined up too him would be easy.he has alot of real nice hounds in his pedigree.
Some of the pups off of Bum and Salley went over 100 pound range. one was close to 130 now thats a big blue.
You have double and mabe 3 times Tack blood and not much close anymore.Your male would be a nice one to get pups off of.
