we had alot of bullet dogs back in the day and what I seen with almost all of them is they are definately coon dogs! Most of them hunted with full intentions of catching a coon. They were very intelligent & fast with layup ability. The only thing I seen from some but not all of them is if they didnt want to hunt they werent going to hunt & they liked to jack the tree also. We really took a liking to them for alot of years though because they are very capable of putting up walker dog scores of over 1000+ when/if they felt like hunting on that particular night... I hope this helps

Wow......... I'm new to blue dogs don't know squat about the different lines. But you just described my dog to a T (good and bad) so I get his papers out and sure enough his dam is out of Running Bullet II LOL. Does anyone else have any more info?
