I have not tried Nite Lite's LED yet, but I chime in on every post requesting information on Nite Lite anything. They are the worst company a person could do business with. All of their products are made overseas and then sold at the same price good American products are. They do not stand by their products, and their customer service is ****. Here is a list of substandard crap that I got from them:

-21v belt light: battery never worked quite right then completely crapped out, they told me to buy another battery pack, and this was at 8 months

-chaps: were waterproof the first time I used them and that was it

-replacement bulbs: all broken and were not replaced even when they said they would ship me more

-collar: wrong size, when returned sent the wrong size again, but this time without the name tag on it

There are plenty of good hound hunting supply vendors all over the place to spend your hard earned dollars with, instead of sending your money to company that will send it overseas and give you junk.

Hunted with a guy in our state hunt this past summer that had one . I talked with him and looked it over real well and there not for me . It's very light but he said the rotary switch that controls the brightness of it has messed up twice . The brightness of it compared to my 7 yr old boy's orange kids klight . I'd go with a laser torch with color or the Excalibur light , boss cap lights are nice as well .

I'm doing better able to hunt some walking with a cane now. I got to get you to work on my Garmin. I know you need a good light to keep up with Jr.
