I just bought the garmin astro 320, and was looking into this birds eye thing. I see it cost another $30 to download, but was wondering if you get it once and download it do you have to keep getting it year after year or once you get it once its saved to your handheld and just wont update after your subscription runs out? I also still have my garmin astro 220 and was wondering if the topo map card will work in my 320 or if i have to buy a new card?

the card will work in the 320 and i believe the birdseye is a yearly subcription hope that helps
